Diljeet graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science. She worked for ten years as a management consultant with companies including PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLC and Tata Consultancy Services. She worked in IT (ERP) but her true passion for helping students succeed, combined with her interest in education, steered her towards her work at the Ph.D. Program Office, University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and later at the University of Westminster in London, UK. After moving to San Ramon, she achieved her certification as a college admissions counselor from the University of California, Berkeley and founded The College Colors, a comprehensive college admissions counseling services company.

   Diljeet currently lives in San Ramon with her husband and is a proud mother of two accomplished daughters. She can converse fluently in English, Hindi, Punjabi and has basic knowledge of Telugu. She loves travel, watching movies, poetry, music, gardening, along with having fun with family and friends.
